My god, the last six months have been simply nutty. That was by far the busiest, most stressful semester of my life. And the next one starts tomorrow. But that's ok. My only real complaint about last semester is that it really made me not feel like myself. And a big part of that was not writing here. So it's definitely time to get back into it. So here's an update on the major events.
It's senior year. I'm in my last semester ever. And so far my only plans for a career are to audition for the Rockettes' Christmas show. And if that doesn't work out, we'll see. I guess I'll start sending out resumes.
Boyfriend is still around, and we're very much in love. I don't know what to say, other than it's wonderful. We've even talked about whether we want to stay together after graduation, and I think so. So it's nice to know I'll be heading out into the world with a population larger than just me.
Still reading and writing like crazy. We do senior readings in the creative writing program at my school, so I'm slowly getting my portfolio together. Very slowly, because I am still my old slacker self. Old habits, you know. But that's ok.
I've taken up knitting, and I'm already addicted. So far I've made fingerless gloves for me and my best friend. Next I'm thinking I'll make a hat, and then maybe one of those scarves with pockets on the ends. But I love it.
Not a lot to report, huh? But that's ok. Life will pick up again tomorrow. Everyone's trickling back onto campus, and then off we go. It'll be fun. And my goal for the semester is to not put quite as much stuff off until the last minute, so maybe I won't be quite as stressed out. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
