Wow. Suddenly it's been a month since I updated. Let's do something about that, shall we?
It has been one crazy semester. We've all sort of collectively decided that after three years of being good little college students, we deserve a little fun, so it's amazing how much fun has been had. Here's an incomplete, informal list of all the stuff that's gone down lately:
*countless parties, and by parties, I mean us hanging around Halley and Becca's apartment, usually drinking, but mostly just hanging around.
*white trash night, complete with a mock-shotgun wedding. I really wish I had the ability to post pictures for you guys, because wow. Yeah.
*apples, honey, and applitinis for Rosh Hashana
*many joint dinners between Halley and Becca and me and Amanda
*lots and lots of movies watched. And Firefly, and a little bit of Buffy
*a select few of us got invited to a fancy garden party at a real writer's house, and we all got hit on by Michael McGarrity, but we didn't mind because he was really fun
*a few of us drove up to Santa Cruz Lake to watch for shooting stars. And after the first one, I couldn't think of a wish, so I wished Tamara would see the next one, because she missed it, and my wish came true!
*Student Writer's Association is finally back in swing, and I'm working on a new short story
*I sang in public! And I was nervous, but I did ok!
*still working on getting my costume together to be Bellatrix Lestrange for Halloween, and trying to convince the guy I'm dating to not give up on his Harry Potter costume
*yes, that's right, I said I'm dating someone! More details to come
The way things are going lately, I feel like that's barely scratched the surface. And this weekend is jampacked, too. It's all just so very exciting!
