Here's a fun game stolen from Poolagirl, because honestly, if you're going to steal fun things, shouldn't it be from someone as cool as her? You wish you could be as cool as Poolie, don't you?
1) How old do you wish you were?
Somewhere between twenty-four and twenty-six. The point at which I'm hoping my life will have landed at least somewhere in the vicinity of where I want it to be.
2) Where were you when 9/11 happened?
In Mrs. Bunte's algebra class, right before class got out. Our principal, Mr. Adams, announced it over the PA system, and then after I went to my next class, Mrs. Sessions' theater class, we watched the footage on TV.
3) What do you do when vending machines steal your money?
I swear and grumble a little, and within five minutes, I've usually forgotten all about it.
4) Do you consider yourself kind?
Yes. At least I try to be. There's too much meanness out there, so I try.
5) If you HAD to get a tattoo, where would it be?
Somewhere that would be hidden by most dance costumes. Where that is, I haven't figured out yet. But if I do, I'd get a shooting star.
6) If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be?
French. It just sounds so lovely. Someday I'll learn it.
7) Do you know your neighbors?
Yup. Considering I have classes with most of them.
8) What do you consider a vacation/holiday?
Getting to read whatever book I like, regardless of what my teachers would think of its intellectual, social, and literary merits. Reading said book on the beach, or in a hammock would be good, too.
9) Do you follow your horoscope?
Nope.
10) Are you touchy feely?
Depends who I'm touching and feeling.
11) Do you believe that opposites attract?
I dunno. Maybe. I'm usually so stuck inside my own head, I don't really pay attention.

Rockette/circus performer/novelist
13) Favorite channel(s)?
Probably the Discovery Channel. I heart Mythbusters.
15) Favorite place to go on weekends?
Bed. And bookstores. And libraries.
16) Showers or Baths?
Usually showers, but sometimes the urge for a nice bubble bath hits.
17) Do you paint your nails?
Very rarely. As in, less than once a year. If that.
18) Do you trust people easily?
Yes, in a very basic way, because I tend to assume people are generally good. Maybe I trust people too easily. But it takes me a long time to really trust them enough to open up to them completely.
19) What are your phobias?
I've recently discovered bats creep the hell out of me, which made it really fun when there was one hanging above our door when we were moving back into our apartment, and even more fun when he turned up dead on our kitchen floor the next morning. Just thinking about it gives me the jibblies, and I want another shower now.
20) Do you want kids?
Maybe. At this point in my life, I can't even see myself getting married, but you never know. I haven't ruled it out completely.

Religiously.
22) Where would you rather be right now?
Onstage.
24) Heavy or light sleeper?
Pretty heavy, once I finally get to sleep. Stupid insomnia.
25) Are you paranoid?
Not really. I've worked really hard to get to be as secure with myself as I am, so I try not to let things worry me much.

Sometimes.
27) Who can you relate to?
The people who open up enough to let me, and vice versa.

It sounds like an old-fashioned phone, because the rest on my phone suck.

Watching "Firefly" and scribbling in my journal.

I don't text.

A tootsie roll bank full of change and two dollars bills that my grandmother gave me for Christmas.

Paris, even though I've never been there.

Nobody. I just got one.

Not diagnosed, just a short attention span when I don't really have to focus. If I have to, I'm ok.

Hopefully on a book tour (yet another thing stolen from Poolie. She beat me to it). Or on Broadway, or in Cirque du Soleil, or something like that.

Whatever's stuck in my head at the time.

I got all scraped up when I got dragged under my friend Bonnie's car during a bout of extreme stupidity. That sucked pretty bad.

We watched "Newsies" on Saturday night, and I've had "Seize the Day" stuck in my head ever since. All that beautiful boy harmony.
