I just feel like I should update so you'll all know that I haven't in fact DIED from finals. I've survived.
We're moving out tomorrow, so tonight will be my last crack at good internet for awhile, at least until Neaves and I get settled and get that stuff sorted out. Can't wait to live with my best friend! So much fun to be had this summer. And I can go back to work at Dad's office on Monday (though I'll probably go Tuesday), so I don't have to worry about money. And I don't have to run all over town filling out applications at Starbucks.
But yes, finals are done. I have one paper left that's due on Monday, so I'll do it on Sunday, when I've got the entire house to myself. I'll just make tea all day and get it done. Eight pages on Coetzee's "Waiting for the Barbarians." No problem. And by the way, if you've never read any Coetzee, do it now. He's just incredible.
Also by the way, as the end of that paper, I'll officially be a senior in college. Eee! Well, actually I'm three credit hours short, but I'm taking classes over the summer, so I'll be a senior when I get back. Woo and yay!
Anyway, it's been a long day of packing and whatnot. I'm just glad we got in one last run to the storage space after Grey's Anatomy (show of hands: who thinks it's the best show EVER? That's right.), and we didn't get locked in, either. And I got relatively cheap gas, at $3.09 a gallon. Sheesh. And I only had to go to the scary part of town to do it.
Anyway, that's about all that's going on with me. I'm going to go take a shower and then fall into bed. Once I unearth my bed again.
In one day I'll be in Texas again! And in two days I'll be eating Steak N Shake!
