Last night at trapeze class, I swung up into a pike without using my feet for the first time ever. I'd never been strong enough to do it before. And it wasn't like everyone else was standing around watching, going "Ohmigod, she did it!" No one saw me do it. It was just me, quietly thinking "Will I do it this time?" And then I did, so there I was, hanging upside down and grinning like a loony. And also, there's this part in my routine where I'm hanging by one knee and one hand, and I swing my other leg up all of a sudden and land in a belly balance. It's kind of tricky, but I've been working on it really hard. And last night when I did it, Corey and Wes were watching and they were both really impressed. I impressed the two guys who have the most impressive routines! They're doing all these crazy tricks, like skull and crossbones, and bird's nest in the ropes, and a monkey roll straight into an ankle hang. They just amaze me, but last night I amazed them.
