Ok, yes, I know, I've been AWOL the last few weeks. Sorry. It's mostly because they've been really boring. I've just been working. At the most boring job in the entire world. I literally stood in front of the copiers every day for three and a half weeks. But we finished yesterday! So I can go back to enjoying my summer. Today I watched movies. Tomorrow I'll read and get some writing done. And yesterday, to celebrate not only finishing the job but also getting a fat paycheck from it, I went shopping. A lot. So that wasn't so bad. So have yourself a little "yay Kat, congrats" moment, because I deserve it. And it'll be like a teeny little party for you. Win-win!
By the way, the three weeks of boring work have led me to believe that I am becoming Arthur Dent. For four weeks in a row, Thursday was just not a good day for me. Every time they just ended up in the crapper. So by the time the third one came around I found myself thinking of that line "Must be Thursday. Could never get the hang of Thursdays." Except he got to be in a pub with his best friend when he said it, drinking large amounts of beer, and then he got to go have an adventure. I wasn't so lucky. But I did find myself hoping some strange intergalactic dignitary would appear and offer to show me his spaceship. I'm as weird as Trillian, too! I swear! I'm as mad as a balloon! So I'm still waiting for him. If only.
