I love the feeling of getting past big, threateningly important things and getting to relax again. Without that nagging feeling that I should be doing something more important. Last night I turned in my big, honkin' Shakespeare paper and took my pretty self shopping. Shoes, capris, and two purses. And since I finally have time to read what I want again, I finally got around to starting Memoirs of a Geisha, which has just been sitting on my bookshelf for six months. Her time has finally come! I'm a happy girl. Plus, it's nice to be able to lie in bed in the morning and not have to think about how many billions of things I have to do. Delicious. And just think, in a week I'll be heading home. Granted I have a paper, a painting to finish, three exams, and packing to do in between now and then, but I can stand it. I'm almost done with my first semester at my new school! So exciting.
