Of all the craziness of this semester, this week is the craziest. I've got a huge paper due tomorrow, and a project that I have to memorize a monologue. Next week are exams, so I've got three tests to worry about, a revision to write, and another paper, and I have no idea what to write for it. But so far I'm holding up. We'll see how it goes tomorrow, though, when the deadling for this paper is drawing nearer.
I'm enjoying this monologue, though. For my theater history class we're supposed to just do anything we want that reflects something we've studied. I loved the day we looked at Commedia dell arte. It's by far my favorite thing we've done, so I tracked down a commedia play and I'm doing a monologue on stilts. A passion and a plank, indeed. I'm very excited. I just hope I can manage to get it memorized by tomorrow.
But just think, another week and a half and I'll be home.
